Facilities
Behind the farm on the seaward side are three fields which
form part of the property and you are welcome to use them provided that
you do not interfere with any stock which may be grazing.
B-B-Q
A Bar-b-que is situated in the sheltered garden for guests
use together with a picnic table for those warm evenings.

Heating and electricity
Heating is by Storage Heaters downstairs and convector heaters upstairs.
There is also a woodstove
Electricity is charged according
to use (£1 coin meter) but storage heaters are included in rental
price
Beaches and local area
There are a number of fine and very clean beaches within a short drive
offering a variety of experiences from wide expanses of sand with
good surfing as can be found at Newgale or Whitesands near St Davids
to the more intimate Nolton Haven or Little Haven.
St Davids, the smallest city in Britain is well worth a visit with
its cathedral and award winning visitor centre. |

Walking
There are a number of quiet inland footpaths which pass close to the
farm, together with the world famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path this
makes Barch Farm an ideal base for a walking holiday. Circular routes
can often be acomplished using the coastal path together with quiet
lanes or inland paths. |
Bird watching
This part of West Wales is famed for its sea bird life. The islands of
Skomer and Ramsey are an easy boat ride away and are worth a visit. The
cliffs can also provide good vantage points for bird or seal watching
and are especially good for wild flowers in the spring and early summer.
Other Activities
Pembrokeshire is the ideal place to enjoy the great outdoors, with a lage
variety of high quality activities on offer such as canoeiing, surfing,
rock climbing, windsurfing, ponytrekking and mountain biking. A wide range
of organised activities are available in St Davids for children, adults,
beginners and improvers alike.
